Get answers to common questions about Full Face Wax.
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and soften hair. Results vary with hormones, medications, and aftercare; schedule maintenance appointments to keep results consistent.
Some redness or mild irritation can occur immediately after waxing, but it typically subsides within a few hours. We use soothing post-wax treatments and recommend avoiding heavy products, sun exposure, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours to minimize breakouts and sensitivity.
Ensure facial hair is at least a quarter-inch long so the wax can grip. Cleanse skin, avoid retinol or strong acids 48–72 hours prior, skip heavy moisturizers the day of, and disclose medications or skin concerns to your technician.
We recommend a patch test for first-time clients, sensitive skin, or after significant product changes. It helps assess reactions and select appropriate wax. Patch tests are quick and ensure a safe, comfortable service; inform us of allergies or recent skin treatments.
Waxing removes most fine and coarse hairs by the root; however, very short hairs or certain follicle structures may be harder to remove. Multiple sessions can improve results, and your technician will advise on alternatives like tweezing or electrolysis if needed.
Avoid direct sun, saunas, heavy workouts, and exfoliating products for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and a calming, fragrance-free moisturizer. If redness persists or irritation worsens, contact us. Follow recommended scheduling to maintain smooth skin and reduce future sensitivity.
